I recently asked my team of nearly 100 the question "What Is Your Why" and the answers were as individual as the representatives.

WHAT WOULD YOUR "WHY" BE?
My Why: I started my Avon Business nearly 13 years ago to help in providing for my family without taking me away from them any more hours then I already was by working a part-time waitressing job. I was looking to make a little more money and had no idea what kind of income that Avon could actually offer to me. Avon quickly became a perfect fit for me and my family and after a few years of building my business and my team I was able to quit other part-time jobs and work Avon full time. This was huge, giving me the flexible schedule that was so important to me so that I could be available to my children and my husband, attend all of their activities and work when and how I wanted to. My "why" has changed through the years, my children are grown and now I look forward to building a better and earlier retirement for my husband and I. I have achieved many awards and incentives since beginning my business, a kuerig coffee maker, an apple ipad, gift cards and lots cash bonuses to name a few (one of the first cash bonuses that I was so proud of paid for my beautiful leather living room furniture that I still have)
Like my representatives the unexpected joys of having an Avon Business are the RELATIONSHIPS and even how I feel about myself! The people I have come to meet are counted among some of my very best friends, we love and mentor and support each other on this journey. My customers are so much more then customers. It is a great feeling to know that I can help people every day with my business. We choose our business partners, one of my daughters is now a representative on my team and all of our family supports our businesses.
